Promote and support provincial anglers and teams.
Represent the Eastern Province (EP) at SADSAA meetings and to fight for the rights of offshore anglers.
Gather correspondence from other provinces and pass on to member clubs.
Hold regular meetings with member clubs to discuss new information, laws that have been updated and other matters that may affect the deep sea angling fraternaty.

Promote and support anglers from provincial- to national levels.
Develop and implement programmes to introduce and promote our sport in all communities.
Promote, control and develop the sport of deep sea angling to conform to national and international rules and regulations as laid out by SADSAA and IGFA.
Keep accurate records of tournament and individual catches.
Improve and promote inter-area, inter-club and individual competitions.
Select qualified and competent anglers to represent EP in national angling competitions.
To liaise and co-operate with all levels of government and environmental offices on the conservation of our marine stocks and adhere to all environmental laws.
